Running along the Coast in Lima

I found some stairs this morning on my run that lead me down the cliff to the beach down below. And it was great running on the sand that the waves touch because it’s firm enough that you don’t sink in that much. I love the smells of the ocean too. I didn’t see the sun in three days in Lima- just overcast skies. And it’s been kind of cold there- but will be much colder in Huancayo. And to top things off, it gets dark here at 5:30pm. I’m already missing the warmth of Salt Lake and the long summer nights. Ok I’ll stop whining….
